A simple dhBox macro was published under the original 'dhSoftware' brand around the turn of the century. Version 2 is now available
and has significant enhancements since that original version.
The following is a summary of the main features of this macro:
- Easily draw a simple rectangular box by selecting 2 diagonally opposite points
- Rectangle is optionally created as 2D lines or as a Polyline
- Draw a rectangle around an entity or group of entities with a single click
- Optionally include 1 or both diagonals
- Diagonals can be a different colour
- Optional curved corners (without diagonals)
- Optionally apply Knockout to created Polyline rectangles (does not work in Spirit or in older DataCAD versions)
Spirit Compatibility: This macro is believed to be fully compatible with Spirit (has been tested with Spirit 2016).

Virus/Malware Note: Whilst most anti-virus programs correctly report the dhBox install program as 'clean', I am advised that MalwareBytes was at one stage incorrectly flagging it as malware/suspicious. This was a false positive and I believe it has not been rectified: If you get a virus warning then please report it to your anti-virus software provider.
